Here’s what a mom had to say:
My two kids begged for this when they saw it in the store. They said they’d seen it on TV so I was very reluctant to purchase this, especially since I hadn’t heard of it myself. My daughter said that she’d use the giftcard she still had from her birthday to purchase it. Since I was certain it wouldn’t meet expectations, I allowed her to do so figuring that it could be a good lesson for her in exercising caution with TV commercial pitches. Much to my surprise it’s actually a very unique and fun toy. My 10 year old daughter assembled it herself and alerted me that it needed batteries. Within minutes she and her brother were creating really cute items. Some of the templates are so cute that we’ve decided to create more of the finished products to use as embellishments for greeting cards and gift tags. Haven’t had it long enough to truly rate its durability but they have been using it daily since we purchased it last week. We’ve already purchased two more refill kits. Not sure why other reviews I’ve seen are so low. We love it and will probably buy more as gifts.
